Sisters' Reunion

Patty flew into San Diego and stayed a week at Maxine and Jack's home in Carlsbad.  Jim and I were able to drive down Wednesday and visit until Sunday morning.

Max and Jack have a beautiful home just four miles from the ocean.  Love it!

We had a brief but wonderful visit with our niece Wendy, her husband Scott and their darling boys, Jack and Cade.  Scott has taught those boys some great dance moves.

Jack bought me my first Lotto ticket.  Sorry family, I don't know why I didn't win!!!  It was five dollars worth of fun and excitement, then disappointment.  I had grand plans of how to enjoy the wealth.  Giggle, Giggle!

Making A Hot Day "COOL"

The awesome little park at "Town Square" has a fun way to cool the kids down.  What a blast!  Can you imagine how full this park would be if all my grandchildren were here?  Of course after playing hard we had to head over to "Yogurt Land".

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACHEL

Can you believe the baby of the family is "28"!  Jim and I are in shock.  We can't be that old.  Yes we are!  We have the wrinkles to prove it.
We had a delicious dinner at the "Outback".  Rachel ate a steak, medium rare,  with scallops.  I mention that only because for many years she sustained from eating any meat.
She was glowing and works out daily to stay this gorgeous.  Notice how beautiful both my daughters are.  They take after their father.  They must be in really high heels because I'm not that much shorter am I?

I had to run from work to Shea's school performance and directly to dinner so please excuse my attire in the photo.

Shea performs in "The Big Top"

What a fun evening.  At the end of the school year Shea's kindergarten class gave a standing ovation performance in "The Big Top".  Shea was fabulous as a popcorn vendor.  A star is born.  Notice the little boy coming out in Bob in their family photo.  SMILE!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

I love being a mom.  This has been the hardest part of my life adjusting to not having children to take care of.  Daddy makes up for that.  SMILE!

I started my "Mother's Day" yesterday. I had a manicure and pedicure.  Daddy colored my hair and I got my hair trimmed too!  Spoiled!

Rachel zipped over this morning to have breakfast with us before she went to work.  She bought me a really "Fabulous" purse.  I love it.

We had a delicious dinner that Bob made Sydney and me.  They surprised me with a great jacket, earrings and sandals.

My boys and their sweet wivies  all call often and send the cutest cards.  I got some awesome facebook  notes from some of the G-Kids.  Love it!

I love my children,  their  spouses and my grandchildren with all my heart.  I love equally and enjoy all the little differences  that all human beings have.  Heavenly Father knew what he was doing allowing us to have unique personalities and free agency.   I AM BLESSED!

It's May Day!

It's the first day of May.  I'm off work and I got to enjoy a fun morning at the park with Sydney, Nathan and Abby.

Nathan had lots of buddies to play with and Abby had a "Blast".   Children love playing outdoors.

I used to go to the park with my children all the time.  We'd meet friends from church there and have lunch.  I have great memories at the park.  The parks are so beautiful now and there are so many to choose from.  LOVE IT!

I hope you're having an awesome "May Day"!
