SUNDAY WAS AWESOME

Father's Day was lovely. We spent a relaxing morning enjoying our beautiful backyard. Jim loved plucking a few of the first perfect plums from his favorite tree.

Thoughout the day everyone of our five children made contact with their dad. We really are so blessed.

After church and watching some of the U.S. Open, we celebrated while devouring a delicious dinner with Bob, Sydney, Shea, Nathan, Abby, Rachel, Jeremy and Drue. The rest of our terrific family was tucked away deep in our hearts and hopefully having as precious a day as we were.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

Three Weeks From Today

You know how organized I can be! I'm more excited than prepared.

Three weeks from today I jump in my Rav 4 and head toward Bayfield, Colorado just outside of Durango.

With two large cabins awaiting us on the beautiful Vallecito lakeside, all our children, their amazing wives and husbands and their children will meet Jim and I for an amazing Wallace Family Reunion for a whole week!

I have gathered all the essential products that we will need, such as toilet paper, paper towel, sunscreen, Lysol, SOS and etc. etc. etc.

Each cabin will receive a lovely basket of boring stuff, I know, but instead of our vehicle being full of our precious grandchildren, we will have paper plates, cups and plastic ware for all.

I know I'm silly and I over think things but I just want everyone to be comfortable and feel free to use all the toilet paper they need!

Oh my gosh, I can't wait. I love my FAMILY!!!

While Mommy Was Away

Shhh! Don't tell Sydney but while she was working hard at church girls camp, Shea, Nathan and Abby had a BLAST with G-Ma!

After a magical hour mesmerized by story time at the library we zipped over to "Mc Donalds". We burned off those fatty calories playing "Dance Freeze" to the electric piano.

Just imagine if I had all my grandchildren playing "Dance Freeze". Now that's a dream come true!
