It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

We're ready now! The grandkids had their baking day with Granny Franny.

Even Trust joined Shea, Nathan and Abby in making snowman cupcakes.

I made dinner and Shea, Nathan and Abby are spending the night so Sydney and Bob can have a serious talk with Santa Clause.

Papa and I gave the children one special gift. I recorded The Very First Christmas with the beautifully illustrated book put out by Hallmark.

I hope this blog entry finds each of you filled with the joy of the season.

I wish I had all my wonderful family here. I'd make hot chocolate with lots of whipped cream for everyone.

Thanksgiving Weekend 2010

I'm sitting here with red eyes from crying because Jimmy and Amy drove off heading back to Missouri about an hour ago.

We truly had an awesome weekend. Amy is a joy and so upbeat and positive. We are blessed to have her join the Wallace clan.

Thanksgiving dinner was "FABULOUS"! The Black Friday shopping was a "BLAST"! Redrock Canyon was "AMAZING"! Visiting the Temple was "SPECIAL"! Going to play in the snow and having lunch at the lodge atop Mt. Charleston was "FREEZING"!

I need a nap!

Pure Joy!

It's very surreal watching a child you brought into this world having their own child. Rachel did an amazing job.

Giving birth is nothing short of experiencing a miracle. Rachel and Jeremy will never be the same. Their lives will never be the same. They will experience greater joy then they have ever known.

They have been given a precious gift. I know they will be worthy awesome parents! Along the way there will be fear, sleep deprivation, anxiety and heartache.

It's all worth it, I promise!

Trust Huntington Guarino was born at 2:25 P.M. on 10/20/2010. He weighed 6 lbs. 9oz.

Happy Halloween 2010

What a beautiful evening to collect bags full of free candy. Of course a small fortune is spent on costumes and decoration to make your home Halloween trick or treater appealing. Bob worked really hard to make the magic happen. Giggle! Giggle!

Sydney made a delicious chili and cornbread casserole, a yummy strawberry spinach salad and Lisa brought melt in your mouth chocolate spiders.

Shea, Nathan and Abby were very generous with their treats.

Abigail Chase Keyes Turns Two

Abigail celebrated her second birthday at the Vistas Park last evening with family and friends.

Abby is our shy sweetheart for sure. All the attention was a little overwhelming. Her adorable face was hard to capture in snapshots.

Abby won't be our youngest grandchild for long, Rachel is defiantly going to deliver Baby Trust soon.

October is an awesome month!

Happy Birthday To My Honey

Happy Birthday! Jim loves Olive Garden so guess where we all gathered for dinner. Guess what he wanted for a present. Well of course, he wanted coins and that's what he got.

He's still darling at 62. I'm a lucky woman!

Fun Saturday

I only caught the end of Shea's 9:00 A.M. baseball game but I watched him receive the game ball. Jim had been working hard all morning to get the yard work done, Autumn is here and everything is green and blooming. He has every plant perfectly manicured and I love it. I wanted to catch Shea's game before Sydney, the g-kids and I zipped off to The Orleans to see the Disney Live Mickey's Magic Show. Disney always offers great entertainment.

Last Saturday we were enjoying all our sweethearts in Joplin, Mo. This Saturday Jim and I had lots of home chores like laundry, changing bedding, dusting, vacuuming, yard work ext.

Jim and I decided we needed a date night. We had dinner at P.F. Chang's and went to see a romantic comedy with Katherine Heigl in it. It was pretty good in a worldly kinda way.

How did you spend your Saturday?
