Gardener Jim is "Super Delicious"

Spring has been  dragging it's feet but it's blooming like crazy now with the diligent help of Gardener Jim and Miracle - Gro.

We don't have a large yard but Jim keeps it green and beautiful all year around.  That's not an easy task in the Las Vegas desert.  

We wanted our back yard to be smothered with green plants that flower so that it appears much cooler than the 110 degrees temperature that is reality here in July and August.   It works!  

We love to barbecue and enjoy our little paradise.  The grandchildren enjoy it with us.  

We'd love to have you join us!  

Easter Was Wonderful

We woke very early, got dressed in our Sunday finery and headed off to church with Sydney, Bob, Shea, Nathan and Abby. 

We had a delicious Ham dinner at Sydney's home about 4:00P.M.  I made our family favorite potato salad and macaroni salad.  Rachel made a great green salad.  We had cream puffs with chocolate sauce for dessert.  We were stuffed!

Judy and Lisa brought chips and dip to snack on before dinner.  

Lisa was kind enough to play a game with Shea that he got from the "Easter Bunny".  Thanks, Lisa.

The Easter Treats Were Delicious!

I don't have to go to work tomorrow so Shea and Nathan came over Thursday evening to make Easter treats and then they spent the night.  

We had a blast!  The treats were yummy!  The kitchen is a mess!  What a great life we have!

Could you imagine if all thirteen G-Kids were here?  Well maybe a few G-Kids at a time is best.  Although next year at our family reunion I will be in Heaven!!!   I better start planning activities and gathering recipes now.
