Happy Birthday Mason

I love my g-kids! Chad and Megan brought Bree and Mason to visit for a few days. The best part of the visit was celebrating Mason third birthday. The worst part was Mason smashing his ring finger under a small watermelon size rock in Grandma and Papa's front yard. Chad and Megan had to zip him off to the emergency room where he got stitches and bandaged up. Of course he got presents for being such a brave boy and of course Grandma had lots of tears.

All in all it was a FABULOUS weekend.

NATHAN'S FOURTH BIRTHDAY 2011

I can't believe Nathan is four years old. He celebrated with friends, family, video games and more.

I wish all his cousins could have been here.

Papa was so cute playing basketball with all the kids. It's a good thing we live in Las Vegas where we weren't knee deep in snow. It was a lovely day in the high sixties.

SNOW HOUR

It wasn't a whole snow day, it was snow that fell for a couple of hours.

No, I didn't want to get in my vehicle and head off to work. It took great courage to drive away. By the time Daddy got home at three, the white stuff was all gone. (Sad but true)

Gosh it was fun while it lasted! Thank goodness for photography.

Happy Holidays

Christmas was as magical as it should be. Jim and I are so fortunate to be so near Sydney and Rachel. We "Christmas hopped" to both of their charming homes on Christmas morning, then had a fun dinner at our home that evening.

Of course Christmas Eve was a blast at Bob and Sydney's home. Judy and Lisa joined us for yummy food and fun fun games.

On Dec. 27, Sydney and Bob zipped off to Boston for a Anniversary/Christmas get-a-way. Shea, Nathan, Abby and Granny Franny rocked the week with games, basketball, scooters and bedtime stories. All the damage to the house can be repaired I'm sure!

Papa checked in on us but we're a little too wild for his taste. So he'd have dinner and split!

Happy 2011 to family and friends.

Remember the rules:
1.No getting hurt
2.No getting sick

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

We're ready now! The grandkids had their baking day with Granny Franny.

Even Trust joined Shea, Nathan and Abby in making snowman cupcakes.

I made dinner and Shea, Nathan and Abby are spending the night so Sydney and Bob can have a serious talk with Santa Clause.

Papa and I gave the children one special gift. I recorded The Very First Christmas with the beautifully illustrated book put out by Hallmark.

I hope this blog entry finds each of you filled with the joy of the season.

I wish I had all my wonderful family here. I'd make hot chocolate with lots of whipped cream for everyone.

Thanksgiving Weekend 2010

I'm sitting here with red eyes from crying because Jimmy and Amy drove off heading back to Missouri about an hour ago.

We truly had an awesome weekend. Amy is a joy and so upbeat and positive. We are blessed to have her join the Wallace clan.

Thanksgiving dinner was "FABULOUS"! The Black Friday shopping was a "BLAST"! Redrock Canyon was "AMAZING"! Visiting the Temple was "SPECIAL"! Going to play in the snow and having lunch at the lodge atop Mt. Charleston was "FREEZING"!

I need a nap!
