Spring Is Springing!

Our beautiful pear tree is very excited to begin "SPRING".  Jim and I agree that we are excited too.

The rain and snow flurries have been amazing this winter.  There truly should be an excellent burst of color in store for us very soon.

Of course most of you know that our baby is expecting a baby.  Rachel and Jeremy gave us this wonderful news just a week ago.  Jim and I are so thrilled to greet number 16.  We will adore our sixteenth grandchild as much as we adore each and every one of our precious g-kids.  Their sweet angel will arrive early November.  Just imagine Rachel blossoming in pregnancy.  Now that's a big giggle!

SMALL MOMENTS OF JOY!

For two weeks Shea has been very patiently waiting for Grandma to come over and watch him ride his bike without training wheels.  Grandma was gone for over a week helping Chad and his sweet family.  Grandma came home to a week of hard work at the office.  This Friday Grandma was waiting at the door when Shea came home from school.

Shea and Nathan both showed off great accomplishments on their bikes.

Do you remember when you were able to handle that bike all on your own with perfect balance, turning and stopping without a collision?  This is pure "JOY".

Watch out Shea, Nathan is right behind you.  He wants to be just like his big brother!

TILL WE MEET AGAIN!

I'm so grateful for the knowledge I have that my sweet grandson Riley will greet me at the end of my earthly life.

In two months he blessed our lives beyond measure.  I will never forget his gorgeous eyes, his large strong hands and the cleft in his chin exactly like his daddy has.

February 11,  2010 was the worst day of my life.  Our family gathered together to celebrate the few precious days we had with our darling baby.

Chad, Megan, Bree and Mason are loved and admired by family and friends.  As a family we will give each other the strength and courage to continue on with joy, peace and the knowledge that we will meet again.

Saturday Is A Special Day

Granny Franny picked Shea and Nathan up Friday afternoon for a get-away and adventure over night.

We zipped over to Super Walmart to pick up some goodies.  You see, when you have a sleepover with Grandma,  you get to choose what you'll have for dinner and of course what goodies you'll snack on while you watch "Tigger" before drifting off to sleep on the king size blow up mattress that Grandma has made up all cozy and comfy.

Aunt Rachel, Uncle Jeremy and Drue came over for pizza and to watch the "Raining Meatballs" movie we had picked up while shopping.

Early the next morning we made waffles that of course Grandma served to us in bed while we watched "The Mickey Mouse Playhouse".   It's tradition!!!

Papa got some special time in playing trains before Mommy and Daddy showed up.

Grandma and Papa know how to have a fun time!

New Year's Eve Extravaganza

Bree is as talented and charming as her mommy.  Mason is adorable, loving and easy going like his daddy.

Holiday Week With Chad And Family

Sydney, Bob, Shea, Nathan and Abby joined us in Globe, AZ.  for an awesome week of fun with Chad, Megan, Bree, Mason and Baby Riley.  The week between Christmas and New Year's Day was filled with fun, fun, fun!

We had to meet our newest grandson, Riley Gray Wallace.  Pictures don't do him justice.  He is adorable and he really is a "Good" baby.

Chad and Megan are wonderful parents.  Bree and Mason really love their new baby brother.

We all had a blast at "Build A Bear".  It was Bree and Mason's first experience.  I do believe they loved it.  Shea and Nathan have been a few times and showed us how it is done.

We went to "The Phoenix Zoo".  I love that small zoo.  We only had two hours to which was a perfect amount of time for six little ones.  They loved the tortoise and the rhinoceroses. Grandma loved the giraffes.  We had a yummy lunch at "Red Robin.

New Year's Eve was terrific.  Bree and Nathan had a blast bringing in 2010 at 10:00 P.M. with New York's  Time Square.  Megan made it so special with horns, hats, streamers and some delicious non-alcohol sparkling drink in fancy stemmed glassware.  Bree and Mason just about broke the pretty glassware giving a New Year's toast.  Wonderful!!!

Chad made us amazingly delicious steaks that melted in our mouths and Megan made the most scrumptious chocolate moulting lava cakes.  They were to die for!

Jim and I are so blessed to have the best family on the face of the earth!

Needless to say my New Year's resolution is to "Diet"!  Love you.
